Notes In the Flashback version, the wing case is made from pearl Flashabou or similar irridescent material instead of pheasant tail fibers.

    Hi!
    A Good Variation and there are many more Pheasant Tail Nymph Variations. As a fly it is a simple Beginner Tyers fly pattern, but do not forget the tail as without the tail, it just does not look the part. A Nymph is just a Dun without wings.

    I will be angling in your part of the world with my Canadian Fishing Buddy in late June taking a couple of days of for the !00 Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede then, over to BC for a couple of weeks angling making our way up to the US Border then back to the UK.
