A good chuckle!
Looks like a genuine fishing show – but not one that I’ve ever seen before. Can definitely pick up some pointers on what not to do with, or around, an electric motor, ceiling fans, etc

—- Update:
All is good – I downloaded the 2.6 zip file again, deleted wp-admin, wp-includes, and all root files except for the config. I uploaded those files again from the fresh download, and ALSO, made sure that the FTP client was uploading in ASCII mode. One of the previous clients I was using defaulted to binary, and I had Filezilla in Auto mode. Anyway, the fresh zip and ASCII mode upload seemed to make all the difference! Now I can go fishing this weekend!

Yes – WordPress released version 2.6
So, things might look a little awkward for a bit while I get things upgraded.
Update – I finished the upgrade here and on coffee-vibe.com.
One problem has presented itself, an issue with the visual editor toolbar, and the images it uses. I posted more about it here.

Lance and Greg, both from Northern Lights Fly Tyers and Fishers club that I’m also a member of had been subjected to the reports from a number of us about the hogs of Swan Lake. Well, they finally made it out this past weekend and they’ve put together a video over at their site, fiftynorth.ca.
Enjoy!

Well, the stocking program is in full swing – and they’ve updated the stocking lists (I have a link in the menu to the right).
It’s very interesting to see that the province is now stocking some lakes with triploids! Definitely puts a few places on my “places to fish” list ;^)
Haven’t been up to the Athabasca area for a while, so that is probably going to be later this season!

I’ve been wanting a waterproof camera for a while now – and today I finally broke down and picked one up. I bought a 7.1MP Pentax Optio W30 from McBain Camera. For the month of July they have a deals on all Pentax models that they have.
Initial playing around, and I’m quite pleased… the outdoor shots are very nice, and I was really pleased with the macro photos I tried of a fly that I tied up this evening. Just threw a piece of cardboard behind the fly and took a shot…
I really look forward to getting out on the water and getting some underwater shots !
