The Fly-Tying Bible : 100 Deadly Trout and Salmon Flies in Step-by-Step PhotographsI received this book from my parents for my birthday (thank you !!). Has an excellent variety of flies, a lot of which don’t appear in other books that I have.

The photography of the tying steps is excellent, and each fly includes information regarding target species, ease of tying, and great photos detailing the materials used for it.

Recommended for anyone looking for a great variety of tying recipes.

    With the others, are you referring to books?

    I still use them… especially a couple that I have from Dave Hughes. Essential Trout Flies, and Trout Flies: The Tiers Reference

    The Tiers Reference has everything pretty much that is in Essential Trout Flies, but, sometimes its easier flipping through a smaller softcover ;^)
